The 12th International Day of Yoga event was held at Şevket Sabancı Park in Turgutreis on 14 June 2026. Organised by Bodrum Municipality’s Culture, Arts and Social Affairs Directorate in cooperation with the Consulate General of India in Istanbul, the event aimed to promote yoga culture, healthy living, and mental balance. Municipal Council Member Tayyar Gündoğan represented Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, while Consul General of India in Istanbul Mijito Vinito also attended. The event, part of the annual 21 June International Day of Yoga programme, has been a long-standing collaboration between Bodrum and the Indian Consulate.
